TV9 TSR Awards 2011:
T.Subbarami Reddy lalitha kala Parishath announced TSR-TV 9 film awards today at a press meeting in Taj Krishna. This awards committee consiting of Dr.T.Subbarami reddy, Member of Parliament, Smt.RamaDevi, Former Governer of Karnataka, Justice Subhashini Reddy, Former Highcourt justice, Dr.D.Rama Naidu, Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee , RV Ramana Murty, Chairman, AP State cultural council and Ravi Prakash, CEO of TV9 as Members. the awards committee has decided to present TSR-TV9 film awards to the various categories by taking public opinion through SMS and in the form of letters.
The nominations for various categories are as given below:

- Best Heroine
- Best Actress
- Best New Hero, Best New Heroine
- Best supporting actor, Best Supporting actress
- Best Male comedian, Best Lady comedian
- Best film
- Best Director
- Best Producer
- Best Male Playback singer
- Best Female Playback singer
- Best Music Director
- Best Camaera Man
- Best Story writer
- Best Lyric writer
- Life Achievement Award
TV9 and TV1 will be telecasting the promos inviting entries from public starting from 18th February. The awards wil lbe judged by the committee duly considering the SMS response and the letters received. The awards Presentation function will be held on 10th April at Shilpakala Vediaka, Hi-Tech city , Madhapur , Hyderabad at 5pm.
Bollywood and Tollywood Stars At TSR-TV9 Awards:
A press conference was held in Hyderabad to announce the TSR-TV9 Awards function. The function will be held on April 10th, 2011 at Shilpakala Vedhika in Hyderabad. Apart from the leading actors and actresses in Tollywood, several Bollywood stars like Raveena Tandon, Mahima Choudhary, Dharmendra, Subash Ghai and Jacqueline Fernandez will attend this awards ceremony.
Rajya Sabha member Subbarami Reddy, producer D. Rama Naidu, B. Subhashan Reddy, R.V. Ramana Murthy and industrialist Atluri Subba Rao were present at the press conference.
The awards will be distributed based on the popularity of the stars and technicians. According to Mr. Subbarami Reddy, the awardees are selected based on the votes received through public voting.
